Pajama parties are fun. You have pillow fights, midnight snacks, maybe even board games and card games. Plenty of girl talk and lots of laughter. Rather than have your daughters sneak around behind your back, organize one for the girls during the holidays or for a birthday party. There is a time and place for everything, including fun pajama parties.

Plan ahead of time. Give them invitation cards they can send out to their friends and call their friend's mom to assure them since it is going to be a sleepover. Ask them the girls pajama sizes so you can prepare the gift pack for each child. For teenage girls, keep it as a girls only party to avoid any chance of unwanted pregnancies starting during the party. State the rules from the beginning so that there won't be any misunderstandings and everyone can be at ease and have safe fun.

Stock up on food they can eat in the middle of the night. Make it fun food, like popcorn they can microwave, cookies that are ready to eat, sandwiches they can put together themselves. Open the canned food and put them into bowls in the fridge ahead of time, to prevent the girls from accidentally cutting themselves in the middle of the night with those cans. if they can help themselves. Have loaves of sliced bread, salad veggies, condiments, cheese and ham ready for them to use as and when they are hungry. Or just order pizza for everyone. Cookies and cakes would be much appreciated too.
